Charges have been laid in an arson investigation which began on May 10.
Around 10:30 that evening, officers were called to a west end home, where a person threw a flammable substance onto a porch causing a fire, which was extinguished by the home owner.
Belleville Police executed three search warrants and arrested 23-year-old Steven Seaborn.
He is charged with arson and having an improvised explosive device.
An additional drug charge of possession of methamphetamine was also laid.
