There is another new probable case of COVID-19 in our area.
The Hastings Prince Edward Public Health Unit updated the local stats today and says there are now 184 probable cases of the virus, while there still remain only 43 confirmed cases.
So far, 7,626 people have been tested and 7,349 of those tests have come back negative for a positivity rate of 0.6 per cent.
There are 234 tests pending.
In HPE, 33 cases have been resolved with five deaths, leaving five active cases as of today (Wednesday).
In Northumberland County, there is only one active case of COVID-19 and that person is in hospital.
The other 16 previous cases have since been resolved.
In Haliburton, Kawartha and Pine Ridge there is a total of 176 confirmed cases and 148 of those have been resolved with 32 deaths.
