A Quinte West OPP officer was injured on Sunday night attempting to make an arrest.
According to police, the officer was responding to a disturbance in Trenton’s east end on Dundas Street.
An investigation resulted in 27-year-old Dylan Miller of Quinte West being placed under arrest.
During the arrest, the officer received non-life-threatening injuries and Miller has been charged with resisting a peace officer and assault.
He will appear in Belleville court in August.
The officer was treated and released from hospital.
