A 26-year-old Belleville woman faces theft charges after many items were stolen from a restaurant’s staff room in the north end of the city.
Belleville police responded around 10:30 last night after reports that cell phones, clothing, car keys, a laptop computer, and other items had been removed.
A restaurant employee spotted a suspect walking along College Street West and the woman was arrested for theft over $5,000.
Almost all of the stolen property was recovered.
