Belleville City Police were busy chasing youths into the early morning hours on Saturday in the east end of the city regarding break-ins to vehicles parked in driveways.
A number of different vehicles were entered with various items stolen. There were also many reports of failed break-ins.
Police are asking citizens to contact the Belleville Police Service if they were a victim of an overnight vehicle break-in.
Police would also like to remind citizens that thieves generally target unlocked vehicles, so please make sure to lock your vehicles if you leave it in your driveway and do not leave items of worth or sentimental value in your vehicle.
