When COVID-19 put an end to the school year for students across Ontario, it also robbed them of some amazing memories.
For many students, losing their graduations and proms meant lost moments. Jenny Cox of Jenny Cox Photography decided to change that. Cox says “I saw a lot of students going on TikTok and filming themselves in their dresses with their hair done and I thought ‘I need to give those girls that moment!” Cox says she put it up on her photography Facebook page and the response was overwhelming.
Cox isn’t making any money from this event. She says “We wanted to donate all the funds back to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation and help all the front line workers who are battling COVID.” She also ensured she met all the social distancing requirements with each student.
Another photo session is slated for June 5.
