Belleville Transit will begin moving back towards restoring services in the city, following its pandemic slowdown.
The city has indicated that with the increase in businesses opening, and need for more employees to get to work, Belleville Transit is launching a fixed-route weekday service schedule to allow for increased transit capacity during peak hours.
The first phase will begin on Monday.
Passengers will be able to use the TRANSIT app to track the weekday fixed-route buses in real time.
On-demand service will operate weekdays from 7:15 p.m. to midnight.
