A young driver in Belleville is facing a hefty stunt driving charge after being clocked at 112 kilometres per hour in a 50 zone on Saturday night.
The 20-year-old man was seen speeding down North Front Street around 10:20 p.m. Police were able to catch up to the driver and clock him at 112 km/h on College Street.
His vehicle was impounded and his drivers’ licence is suspended for seven days on top of the stunt driving charge.
He is to appear in court on July 6 to answer to the charge.
