An old scam is back again.
Belleville police report people have been approaching others at gas stations and similar locations claiming they’ve lost all their money and asking for cash.
In return the fraudster might offer what’s described as expensive jewellery but which is actually almost worthless.
Police ask that if you’re approached in this manner that you call them with a description of the suspect or suspects.
