Prince Edward County firefighters were called to a barn fire this afternoon.
The call to 779 County Road 5, just north of Picton, came in around 2 p.m.
Five trucks from Station 1 responded with 17 personnel to extinguish the blaze but the barn was destroyed.
Deputy Fire Chief Rob Rutter tells Quinte News there were no injuries and no livestock were lost.
He says they are still on scene investigating and no cause or damage estimate has been determined as of yet.
