Torrential downpours aren’t expected but a fair bit of rain is in the forecast starting tonight and through most of tomorrow (Monday).
It’s possible 20 to 40 millimetres could fall in this part of Ontario when all is said and done.
Lower Trent Conservation warns water levels, especially in creeks and streams, could rise quickly bringing dangerous fast flows.
People should keep children and pets away from creek banks and culverts.
Flooding could also occur due to high waves along the shores of Lake Ontario in windy conditions.
