Women’s shelter finds creative way to fundraise during pandemic

Three Oaks women’s shelter is teaming up with the Rufo Real Estate Team and Studio 237 to raise funds during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since many of their fundraising activities have been cancelled due to the pandemic, they’re challenging people to help raise funds for the shelter with a twist.

The challenge is called #BucksForBangs. They’re asking that people set up fundraising pages online  and collect donations until May 22. On the final day they’re asking that fundraisers do at-home haircuts or beard shaves and post a photo using #BucksForBangs.

All proceeds go directly to Three Oaks.
