No one was injured but a tractor trailer was heavily damaged in a fire on Highway 401 in Belleville yesterday (Monday) morning.
The transport was carrying fruit and vegetables when it caught fire just east of Highway 37 at around 8 o’clock.
Belleville fire halls 3 and 4 responded and had the fire under control in about an hour.
Damage is estimated at $200,000.
