The Ontario Junior Hockey League season was officially cancelled on March 13th which robbed local fans of a highly anticipated playoff series between the Wellington Dukes and Trenton Golden Hawks.
The OJHL season typically begins with training camps in mid August but it’s too early to know if or how teams will be affected.
Nonetheless the Golden Hawks are getting ready.
Trenton has named Griffen Fox as their captain for the upcoming season.
Fox led the G-Hawks led the G-Hawks with 25 goals and 35 assists in 54 games. What kind of a captain will he be?
Trenton coach Peter Goulet says Fox brings a lot to the table.
Fox will be in his third season with the Golden Hawks. The Brantford native turns 20 in June.
