Victoria Avenue Baptist Church, which doubled as Belleville’s overnight warming centre over the winter, was opened 24 times to serve the less fortunate in the community.
In a report city council will see Monday afternoon, staff say an average of 23 individuals used the facility per night.
The average length of stay was over 6 hours.
The cost to the city to run the warming centre was around $21,000 with most of that being spent on security.
