Parking is at a premium at and around Belleville General Hospital.
Monday afternoon city council will see a letter from the Vice President of Quinte Health Care Brad Harrington asking that
the city approve installing paid parking along one side of North Street.
In the letter Harrington says steadily increasing patient volumes are causing chronic parking shortages and mounting frustration for patients, families, and visitors.
North Street runs off First Street just south of Old Highway 2 east of the hospital.
