The Belleville Police responded to 78 calls for service between May 6, 2020 at 5 a.m. and May 7, 2020 at 5 a.m.
Prohibited Driver
On May 6, 2020 at 11 a.m., an officer was patrolling on Boswell St and stopped a vehicle. The driver identified himself and after an investigation it was determined that the driver was a prohibited driver. Scott Reid a 48-year-old Bancroft man was charged with one count of drive while prohibited and released on an undertaking with a court date of July 9, 2020.
Impaired Driver
On May 6, 2020 at 12 p.m., Belleville Police received a call about a possible impaired driver on Station St. Officers located the vehicle and there were grounds to arrest the male for Impaired driving. The male was taken into custody. As a result, Randell Bell a 60-year-old male from Belleville, was charged with over 80 and released on an undertaking. His court date is July 9, 2020.
