A regional director for the Grain Farmers of Ontario says thousands of Canadian farmers are in a state of limbo, due to the effects of COVID-19
Prince Edward County farmer Lloyd Crowe is the Chair of the Ontario Grain Farmers Wheat Marketing Committee and says the federal government is not helping enough, especially since grain prices are so low.
Very little ethanol is currently being used and Crowe says that is a major worry.
He says livestock farmers depend on grain to feed animals, and they’re are also feeling the pinch.
