Two young women were injured after the car they were in plunged into a ravine along Highway 62 near Mountain View early this morning (Wednesday).
Prince Edward County firefighters, OPP, and Hastings-Quinte paramedics responded at around 5 o’clock.
The car was said to be resting upside down.
One woman had to be extricated from the vehicle by firefighters. Both were taken to hospital, one to Belleville and the other to Kingston, with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Highway 62 was closed to traffic until about 8 o’clock this morning.
