The Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health Unit has declared the COVID-19 outbreak over at one of the city’s long-term care facilities.
The Belmont Long Term Care Facility was declared outbreak free on Monday after it was determined there was not enough evidence to support an outbreak declaration.
There was evidence found of possible COVID-19 at the facility on April 28 but that has since changed.
Moira Place in Tweed and Hastings Manor in Belleville are still classified as in outbreak status and are following outbreak protocols.
