Building in construction value in Prince Edward County dropped by half in the month of April.
There were 27 permits issued for last month with a value of $4 million, down from 62 permits in March with a value of $8 million.
The total number of permits issued so far this year in the County is 158 with a construction value of $21.1 million.
Compared to 2019, there were 206 permits issued with a value of $28.8 million by the end of April.
