There were three building permits issued in Brighton for the month of April for a total construction cost of over $1 million.
The permits were all for single dwelling units and brought the total number of permits issued so far this year to 14.
This time last year there were eight permits issued from January until the end of April.
The total construction value so far this year is $7.38 million.
