The start of fishing season starts this weekend, but the City of Quinte West wants to remind people their boat launches remain closed.
Shore fishing on city property is not encouraged but is permitted unless otherwise posted.
The city is reminding residents the best way to stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic is to stay home and to practicing physical distancing.
Gatherings of more than five people are not permitted.
