A serious incident in Frankford has come to a peaceful ending.
Around 6:00 am, OPP, the Emergency Response Team and crisis negotiators blocked off an area surrounding a residence on Scott Avenue, near the downtown.
A man had barricaded himself inside of a house.
During the 10:00 am hour, OPP Spokesperson Bill Dickson says the incident ended peacefully, and one person was taken into custody.
That was not the only incident for officers in Quinte West.
Around 8:00 am, emergency crews were called to the former Queensway building in Trenton where Trenton Street meets Water Street, at Davis Street East.
One witness says around 10 cruisers were on scene.
The incident came to a peaceful end with one person arrested around 12:30 p.m.
