A routine traffic stop in the southeast of Belleville early this morning (Tuesday) led to a series of driving, drug, and weapons charges against a Belleville man.
Officers stopped a vehicle at 12:30 this morning.
After discovering the driver had a suspended licence, a search of the vehicle found individual packages of suspected crystal meth, marijuana, purple heroin/fentanyl, drug scales, and a spring-loaded switchblade knife and brass knuckles.
Facing charges is a 34-year-old man. His identity has not been released. He is in court today.
