With the COVID-19 global pandemic forcing our local healthcare system to adapt quickly, the Lester family of Prince Edward County decided to take action.
Over the years, the Lester family have been generous supporters of Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital.
A desire to improve the experiences for all patients during the current crisis, Garry Lester and his family stepped forward with a donation in support of the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation. This gift was made on behalf of the employees at Lester Group, a construction and real estate development company.
This gift has already been put into action at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital. With this generous donation, the Lester family has been able to purchase a crash cart, patient handling equipment and high oxygen masks needed to help in the fight against COVID-19.
