On Saturday, April 25, 2020 at approximately 8:00 p.m., a member of the Central Hastings OPP engaged a stopped vehicle in the Municipality of Tweed.
The vehicle was sitting idle in the middle of an intersection with the sole occupant, unconscious behind the wheel.
As a result Bradley Tyner, age 37 of Tweed, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with Operation while Impaired, Operation while Impaired, Possession of a Schedule One Substance, Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
Further to that, Tyner was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence Act with Driving while under Suspension, Use Plate not Authorized and driving vehicle with Open Liquor.
The accused was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on May 21, 2020.
