A 25-year-old resident of Brampton is facing multiple charges according to Lennox and Addington OPP.
On Saturday morning, officers noticed a westbound vehicle on the 401 travelling in excess of 200 km/h and weaving in and out of traffic.
Police say the vehicle was reported stolen to Peel Regional Police and was also involved in a theft of gas in Gananoque.
Officers stopped the vehicle near Napanee and Navjot Singh Dhaliwal is facing charges of: possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, theft under $5,000, two counts possession of an identity document, possession of a stolen credit card, fraudulent use of a credit card, stunt driving, driving while under suspension, G1 licence holder- unaccompanied by a qualified driver and G1 licence holder driving on a prohibited highway.
The driver was held for a bail hearing in Napanee court today (Monday).
