Belleville police arrested and charged two men early Sunday morning for trespassing at night and possession of property obtained by crime.
Around 12:15 a.m., police were called to a north end home to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the driveway.
An investigation revealed that two men had taken a dryer from the home and loaded into the vehicle.
Police arrested a 42-year-old Belleville man for trespassing at night, possession of property obtained by crime and three breaches of recognizance.
The second man arrested was a 41-year-old man from Eldorado who was also charged with trespassing at night and possession of property obtained by crime.
Although he was released by Belleville Police, he was transferred into the custody of Centre Hastings OPP since he had several outstanding warrants to his name for various offences.
He will answer to the charges on July 9, 2020.
