There is one new case of COVID-19 in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 38 in the region.
The new case was reported by the Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health Unit on Friday and is said to be transmitted through community.
The health unit is also reporting three new probable cases, bringing that number up to 238.
Out of the 38 confirmed cases, 17 have recovered, six are in the hospital, two are in intensive care and one has died.
