Belleville Police say they are still searching for the driver of a white Concorde after the suspect failed to stop for police in the west end of Belleville early Saturday morning.
Officers say around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning they attempted to stop the vehicle, then the Concorde sped away.
For safety reasons police did not pursue, but later on the vehicle was recovered in the west end abandoned.
The investigation remains on going.
A few hours later around 3 a.m., officers say they attempted to stop a blue Chrysler 300 in the east end of town for not having any insurance on the vehicle.
The vehicle took off causing officers not to pursue for safety reasons.
The vehicle was last seen travelling west on Highway 401. The investigation is still ongoing.
