The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Hastings and Prince Edward counties has gone up by one to a total of 37 as of yesterday (Thursday).
According to the Hastings Prince Edward Public Health, six of those people are in hospital with two being in the Intensive Care Unit.
About half of the positive cases are in the Belleville/Quinte West area.
Seventeen of the infected people have recovered from the illness.
Meanwhile in Northumberland County the number of positive cases remains at 13.
