Update @ 2:30 p.m.:
A 34-year-old Belleville man has been charged with breaching probation after a lengthy incident at a home on Moira Street West this morning.
Police were originally called just after midnight after reports of an unwanted person with a weapon refusing to leave a house.
The Emergency Response Team was called as well, with the suspect taken into custody just before 6:00 a.m.
Joseph Maracle was released later in the day with a July 9 court date in Belleville.
Nobody was injured.

We have an update on why a part of central Belleville was closed down by police for almost 6 hours early this morning.
Belleville police report responding to a Moira Street West boarding house after reports of an unwanted person refusing to leave. The man was said to have a weapon.
The call came in at 12:30 this morning.
The Emergency Response Team was called in and at 5:45 this morning a 34 year old man was arrested without incident.
No one was injured. Charges are pending.
