Belleville police sealed off a section in the central part of the city early this morning (Wednesday).
Officers closed Moira Street West between North Front and Coleman Streets and a section of Gordon Street was also shut down.
In a brief release at 5:30 this morning officers said there was no threat to the public but there was no further information released on the operation.
Streets were reopened shortly before 6:30 this morning.
