A well known Belleville restaurant is going out of business.
In a widely distributed Facebook video posted Monday evening the owner of Earl and Angelo’s announced the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of the steak and seafood house.
In a thoughtful address John Cairns says the business was doing fine even after the downtown re-construction but it made no business sense to continue in the face of the pandemic.
Cairns, who owned the business for almost three years, said he was proud of the “No One Eats Alone” Christmas Day charitable dinner which fed over 250 people and the Military Spouse Appreciation Dinner.
