Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint regarding an impaired driver on Highway 7 at approximately 4:00pm on Friday, April 17, 2020.
The driver was found to be under the influence of drugs.
Dawn GIBSON (age 44) of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs
- Dangerous operation
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on July 14, 2020.
