The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Hastings and Prince Edward counties has increased by two since yesterday’s (Friday) update.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health today report 30 people have tested positive for the disease. One of the people reported infected yesterday contracted the coronavirus through travel while the other infection is thought to have come through close contact.
Meanwhile the number of probable cases held steady at 245.
In Northumberland County the number of positive COVID19 cases is 13.
That is one less than has been reported for several days. The reason for the drop is listed as lab error.
