CFB Trenton was on the front lines in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
From accepting hundreds of people for quarantine, to cutting staff to essential workers, 8 Wing has been front and centre.
Base Commander Colonel Ryan Deming says the number of people working on base has changed dramatically.
Deming says it is important to still be able to continue their core capability.
He adds that work continues no matter what pandemic is ongoing.
Technology has also afforded some members of the base to be able to work from home.
Deming says the base must continue to prepare and work in the best interest of Canada.
