Belleville council will be asked to approve the purchase of four new public transit buses at its virtual meeting Monday afternoon.
Belleville Transit staff are recommending that the 12-metre buses be purchased from Nova Bus Canada at a total cost of just over $2.7 million.
The city has just received almost $5 million in grants from the federal and provincial governments for investments in public transit.
