A new online group is trying to help answer the call for our front line workers in the pandemic battle.
The online group is being organized by Tawnya Smith, an educator at Eastside Secondary School.
The Facebook groups is called Quinte Community Sewing for COVID-19.
A group of volunteers have been donating material, and time to make personal protective equipment for those in hospitals and long term care homes.
Smith says it is all in an effort to help our front line heroes.
Materials, elastics, and buttons are needed and you can drop them at 22 Alexander Street in Belleville, or 131 Ashley Street in Foxboro
They are trying to set up locations in Trenton and Madoc.
