The Lower Trent Conservation Authority has downgraded the flood watch for the Trent River to a water safety statement.
Conservation staff say water flows in the Trent River have started to decline from the weekend, but 5 mm of rain is forecasted for Thursday and 25 mm on Monday.
Parks Canada is continuing to manage the water, and flows through the Trent River are expected to remain high but flooding is not expected.
The Trent River should still be considered extremely unsafe and areas around dams, culverts and bridges should be avoided at all times.
