So far this year it’s been a much busier year for planned new construction in the Municipality of Brighton.
To the end of March, building permits have been issued for 11 new homes in Brighton, valued at $6.3 million.
For the same period last year, only one permit for a new house had been issued.
One of the permits issued last month in Brighton was for a home worth almost $1 million.
Unfortunately, all new construction, except for crucial infrastructure projects, has come to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic.
