Northumberland OPP are reminding people provincial parks are closed.
The OPP are reminding community members that walkers and dog walkers in all areas of the parks are prohibited and car camping, back country camping, roofed accommodations, all public buildings and day use opportunities are off limits.
In Northumberland this includes Presqu’ile Provincial Park located in Brighton and Ferris Provincial Park in Campbellford. Members of the Northumberland OPP are actively patrolling these parks to ensure public safety and compliance.
The province has closed all provincial parks until April 30.
