There is only one new confirmed case of COVID-19 in the region according to Hastings Prince Edward Public Health.
New data released Friday afternoon, shows there are 17 confirmed cases of the virus in the two counties, up one from yesterday.
The newest case is linked to travel and means of the confirmed numbers; nine are travel related, four are close contact and four were transmitted through the community.
The number of probable cases also decreased by one to 271, which the health unit says is due to multiple negative tests.
The Halliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit is reporting an increase of two positive cases today bringing the number of confirmed cases to 65.
In Northumberland County, there are 14 confirmed positive cases, a decrease of one, as the data was accidentally duplicated on Thursday.
