The City of Belleville is closing both Meyers Pier and Victoria Harbour.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk says the closure is in alignment with the province’s order to close all outdoor recreational amenities.
He says it was a necessary decision to make as the city follows the direction of federal and provincial governments and the Department of Health.
The city will continue to provide essential services citizens rely on every day while continuing to respond to the COVID-19 crisis.
