A Belleville man faces numerous charges after bizarre criminal activity led to him being arrested twice on Tuesday.
Belleville police first responded in the mid-afternoon after reports of a man seen tampering with a gas can and urinating near the CN rail
tracks near Geddes Street.
A suspect was arrested soon afterward in the area of Alhambra Square and charged. He was released with a future court date.
Then after 10 o’clock Tuesday night officers responded after a man was chasing people trying to cause a fight in the Front Street area.
The suspect arrested was the same man charged earlier in the day.
Facing charges, including committing an indecent act, mischief under $5,000, and breaching probation is 33-year-old Jarrod Cameron Brinkert.
