A Belleville city police cruiser and another vehicle were damaged after a domestic incident in Belleville’s east end early Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded to a Dundas Street East address shortly after 1 o’clock and located a suspect in a vehicle trying to drive away in a dangerous manner.
The vehicle was stopped but not without some damage. A 23-year-old Belleville man was arrested but officers had to use a taser to subdue him.
The man, whose identity won’t be released to protect the identity of the victim, faces charges and was already before the courts on other domestic and criminal driving offences.
