Hastings County has reached a contract settlement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 1133.
It has has been ratified by both parties.
The new contract covers three years from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2022.
It has a 1.6% pay increase for the CUPE members retroactive to January of 2020, 1.5% in January of 2021, and 1.5% in January of 2022.
The contract covers approximately 425 full and part-time employees at Hastings Manor and Hastings Centennial Manor – Registered Practical Nurses, Personal Support Workers, Housekeeping, Laundry, Dietary, Maintenance and Recreation employees
