With the change that COVID-19 has had on the economy, more people are turning to get help feeding themselves and those under their care.
Sarah Kring is the Public Relations and Fundraising Coordinator for Gleaners Food Bank and the Tri-County Warehouse.
She says they are seeing a massive jump in demand.
Kring says it is not just more households, but how those homes are made up.
She says year over year they have seen a 24 percent jump in households, but also the types of households they are serving are larger.
