There is not one part of our life that has not been touched by the Coronavirus pandemic, and that includes places of worship.
One Belleville Church is trying to do something about that.
St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church is offering a drive up chapel, and drive thru confession.
Pastor Father Richard Whalen says each day for two hours (11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.), you can drive to a window of the rectory, sit in your vehicle and confess your sins.
He says the distance between the driver and the priest keeps with social distance protocol.
Also the church has set up a chapel at the north entrance glass windows, where people are invited to drive up and pray, also keeping with health protocols.
They also go live with mass at 10 a.m. on Facebook live, and they record mass for YouTube as well.
